Catalogue design and coordination of content for the Spring/Summer 2019 fashion collection “WABI SABI” by Little Creative Factory, inspired by the Japanese aesthetic.

The graphics and the materials used follow the Wabi Sabi aesthetic: “the beauty of imperfection”. We mixed minimalism with natural and rustic elements like Chinese black ink and craft materials. The model, location and graphics in black ink smudges and calligraphy are reminiscent of ancient Japan and its traditions.

The Munken paper and craft, in line with the Wabi Sabi aesthetic are organic and their aged look reflects the passage of time. The booklet, sewn by hand using red thread, is again, reminiscent of the Japanese culture.
