At the beginning of 2023, this book has been published, which exposes how the city of Barcelona has promoted knowledge through the program “Barcelona Ciència”, essential in fostering links between scientific knowledge and the citizens of Barcelona. It leads initiatives such as the Science Festival, Escolab, the City and Science Biennial, the Hypatia European Science Award, among others. It takes the opportunity to review the agents involved and the facilities of the City Council around knowledge, such as the Museum of Natural Sciences, and projects the future regarding new challenges and municipal projects related to science.
