The “Technical Days of the Ibero-Macaronesian Association of Botanical Gardens”, focusing on the issue of wildlife management in botanical gardens, took place in the Botanic Garden of Barcelona at the beginning of May 2017.
These days, aimed mainly at staff of botanical, technical and conservative gardens involved in the propagation and conservation of living collections, hosted a total of 38 participants.
During three days, experiences were exchanged with technical staff and specialist in other botanical gardens: techniques for controlling and monitoring the vegetation of gipsychic habitats and wetlands, growing protocols, germination and restoration of dune ecosystems, cultivated cultivation techniques In the nurseries and the multiplication of Mediterranean wild species.
